Silver is Worthy Park's unaged white — the purest, most direct look at what comes off the estate's Forsyths double retort copper pot still. The estate itself is the oldest operating rum company in Jamaica, growing cane since 1720 and distilling since 1741, and everything here is genuinely single-estate: molasses piped one kilometer from the family's own sugar factory to the distillery, fermented, pot-distilled, and bottled without additives. Silver blends three house marques with different fermentation times — deliberately weighted toward WPE, Worthy Park's highest-ester mark, so the signature Jamaican funk survives dilution to an easygoing 40% ABV. Master of Malt puts it perfectly: "All the heady esters and overripe fruit of a real rum, at 40% for ease of drinking... This is what white rum should taste like." Expect banana ice cream, pink grapefruit, lime zest, wet grass, and that classic acetone funk on the nose, with ripe banana, citrus, white pepper, and floral honey on a mild, surprisingly smooth palate. Reviewers agree on its purpose: The Rum Barrel scored it 82/100 with perfect marks for value and transparency, and Got Rum called it a versatile workhorse that outshines the competition in everything from daiquiris to Tiki to punch. The genuine flavor of Jamaica, built for your cocktail shaker.
